Zavareh is a city in and the capital of Zavareh District, in Ardestan County, Isfahan Province, Iran. Zavareh is located at the northeast of Isfahan Province, next to the central desert area. It is known that Zavareh had a Sassanianfire temple and was an important trade center in the Seljuk period. The town is named after Zavareh, the brother of Rostam, a mythical hero of Iran. Khodashahr (God's City), Iran's first high-tech city, is built in the east of Zavareh with investments from oversea Iranians.
